We now have a name to put with the Bowling Green City Commission's selection for interim city manager.
Kenneth Thompson will take over control of the city's day to day operations, pending formal approval of the city commission tomorrow.
Thompson is based in Frankfort, and currently serves as a consultant to several city governments.
He was Frankfort's city manager from 1988 until 2002, and Mayor Walker says that experience in running the government of a similar-sized city will be a plus for Thompson.
He will be in place for at least 5 or 6 months, but will not be eligible to apply for the job on a permanent basis.
