Residents of Stone Bluff off Old Scottsville Road in Warren County wanted to stop the development of Lone Oak subdivision. The Stone Bluff homeowners claimed the Lone Oak development exceeded the density of homes suggested by county statute.
But Judge Steve Wilson said Stone Bluff's claim was based on incorrect information the homeowners got at the Planning and Zoning meeting. He said the correct information came out at a subsequent Fiscal Court meeting, showing Lone Oak does not exceed the suggested density.
So the judge ruled in favor of the Fiscal Court's ordinance, which upheld the Planning and Zoning commission's recommendation to approve the Lone Oak development.
