A Louisville man died early on Feb. 20, after leading police on a short chase near Elizabethtown.

Police tried to pull Michael Rigsby over for a traffic violation when he took off, leading them on a five-minute chase.

It ended after Rigsby began driving the wrong way on Lincoln Parkway.

Police say there was a minor altercation following the 41-year-old's arrest.

Rigsby began complaining of pain in his arm and chest, after being placed in a patrol car.

On the way to the hospital, he quit breathing.

Officers were unable to revive him.

Autopsy results show Rigsby died of a heart attack.
