A World War II Navy Veteran and former Bowling Green Funeral Director passed away.
H.W. "Buck" Bradley Jr. died at an area nursing home.
Bradley was a fourth generation director who owned and operated Gerard-Bradley Funeral Home.
Bradley, along with his son Mike took over the funeral home in 1980 and then merged with J.C. Kirby and Son in 1990 where he continued to work until his retirement.
Bradley was also World War II Navy Veteran serving on the U.S.S Topeka as a Gunners Mate.
He was also a graduate of College High, now known as Western Kentucky University and played basketball under Coach E.A. Diddle.
A private graveside service will be held in his honor.
