They're nocturnal insects that feed off human hosts.

You know them as "bedbugs."

Some residents of Bowling Green Towers say five floors of the two buildings have become infested with bedbugs.

Residents say they're concerned about having to get rid of furniture due to the bedbug problem, while being unable to afford new furniture.

Officials at Bowling Green Towers have refused to comment, but residents say they're bringing their problems to the attention of the Kentucky Housing Corporation.

"I'm hoping we have some of these issues addressed and we get things moving' in the right direction to get these problems taken care of," said Patrick Fannin, a BG Towers Resident.

Residents say an exterminator has made a stop at Bowling Green Towers, but traditional methods of killing insects were unsuccessful in stopping the infestation.
