New System to Aid in Child Abductions

A Kentucky entrepreneur has launched an online service allowing parents to provide information that would assist police if their children were abducted.

Parents can enter physical descriptions of their kids along with digital photographs Into the Amber National Network Alliance, or ANNA system.

The Elizabethtown-based service is meant to arm police with vital information needed to immediately search for a kidnapped or missing child.

Federal Department of Justice statistics indicate that nearly three-quarters of children who are abducted and murdered are killed within the first three hours.

Enrollment in ANNA can be done online at www.annasaves.com.

Parents must enter the information at least once a year and pay the annual $5 enrollment per child.
