The State Attorney General's office has expanded its investigation into alleged illegal hiring by the Fletcher administration.
Now that probe may include a Bowling Green native.
The Justice Cabinet and Environmental and Public Protection cabinet have now been added to the investigation.
The probe had previously been focused only on the Transportation Cabinet and the Governor's office.
Attorney General Greg Stumbo said in a motion filed in Federal court that a special Grand Jury has called Environmental employees to testify about hiring practices.
The Justice Cabinet office received a subpoena related to Personnel actions involving the office's eight Merit system workers.
Bowling Green native Lajuana Wilcher is the Secretary of the Environmental and Public Protection Cabinet.
