WKU Men's Basketball is headed back to the NCAA Tournament after winning the Sun Belt title on Mar. 11 in Mobile, but it was a bittersweet day for one Hilltopper.

Senior forward Mike Walker missed the tournament after tearing a knee ligament late in the regular season, and that was after he missed his entire freshman season in an effort to reach academic eligibility.

So his teammates made sure he was the first player to cut off a souvenir piece of the net Tuesday night.
