If you want to quit smoking help is now a phone call away.
Governor Ernie Fletcher announced a new toll-free line that will provide counseling to help Kentuckians give up cigarettes. The hotline is possible thanks to a $300,000 federal grant.
If you're interested in calling the line it will be open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am until 8:00 pm.
The number is 1-800-QUIT-NOW.
Smokers will receive one-on-one counseling and up to five scheduled call backs from their counselors.
