Campbellsville police investigate the death of a barber who was found dead in his shop.

The body of 53-year-old Randall Simms was found Tuesday at the First Street Barber Shop in the south-central Kentucky town.

Officers had gone to the store to do a welfare check and found Simms dead. Authorities say the case is being investigation as a homicide.

An autopsy was conducted Wednesday, but authorities have not released a cause of death.
