Do you want to live a long life? You probably do, and here's some advice: stay in school!

A new study from Harvard University found a stunning correlation between the lifespan of people with at least one year of college, compared to those with a high school education or less.

People with at least one year of college lived longer by nearly a year and a half from 1980 to 1990

But those with a high school diploma or less gained only about six months and the gap is growing.

Also on the Dot-Com Desk...

These days almost everyone owns a cell phone, but not everyone knows how to use it.

Here are few do's and dont's on cell phone etiquette.

First, your ringtone may be pretty cool, but not to everyone, so if you're in a public place or on a date try putting your cell phone on silent.

Texting during a movie can be just as rude as making a call. You'd be surprised how bright your phone can be in a movie theater.

So if you really need to text someone, step into the hallway.

Also, most people shorten their words when they text, but be sure you and your friend are on the same page before you do.

For instance some people use "LOL" as laughing out loud, but others use it as "lots of love" so you may be sending the wrong impression...

Ooops!

What urks you most about people using their cell phones? Do you think most people know how and when to use their phones?

Do you remember a time when you were annoyed by someone using their cell phone?

Let me know!

I can think of many reasons why cell phones do annoy me. Seems like everyday my life is being impacted negatively by a cell phone. A year ago I was t-boned by another person who was using their cell phone while driving. Countless times I have been almost hit by people using their cell phone while driving. I am a student at WKU and find students have no cell phone etiquette. Some professors have rules about cells phones, but very rarely enforce them. Cell phones go off constantly during lectures, and tests. And don't get me started with ring tones!!! If I hear another persons ring tone with the lyrics colorful in nature, in the presence of elderly and children, I think I am going to stomp on their phone!!! PEOPLE YOU ARE NOT THAT DARN IMPORTANT AND HAVE SOME RESPECT!!!!!!

People need to realize that there is a time and place to use your cell phone. I think this serves as a reminder to us ALL that maybe sometimes we don't have the best cell phone manners out there...thanks for the reminders!

A lady was using her cell phone while driving, but the thing that got me was we were getting on the interstate 65, and she was only going 35 to 40 miles per hour. Cars on the interstate were zooming around us. Yeah, she was going slow, but she should have never been on it or atleast pulled over until finished with her conversation. She could have caused a serious accident.

It bothers me to meet people driving while talking on their cell phones, but it drives me nuts to meet people who are obviously texting and driving. I feel like they are taking my life in their hands by being so careless.
