President Bush kicked off the 2008 National President's Challenge.

The program's aim is a healthier nation.

Quarterback Eli Manning was also on hand to support the new White House program to get more Americans in shape.

The goal is to increase physical activity for every American.

"I believe physical fitness is vital issue for country," said President Bush.

"There are too many obese, not enough people are exercising."

People can get involved in several ways.

They can participate on their own or with their school, employer or family.

There's even a "Fitness File" available online to keep track of progress.
