Bowling Green Sex Ordinance

This week the Bowling Green City Commission cut the cost of licensing a sexually explicit business open to the public by more than half. They say no places like that exist in the city right now.

Tattle Tails and Uncle Sam's are private clubs, requiring membership fees, and are not affected by this new ordinance. But Mayor Sandy Jones says the city passed the law to avoid potential court battles that have occurred in other cities.

She says the new ordinance will apply to any sexually explicit business that is open to the public. The City Commission cut the licensing fee from $2,500 to $1,200.
