A Hart County sheriff's deputy remains in critical condition, after responding to a call and crashing his vehicle.
Reuben Bertram, 70-years-old, was driving on US 31 West Tuesday when his vehicle hydroplaned, overturned and landed upright on railroad tracks. He was on his way to investigate a fight where shots were allegedly fired.
As of Thursday morning, he's in the intensive care unit in critical condition at the University of Louisville hospital.
