Last year thousands of you lined up to receive a flu shot but were turned away because a manufacturing problem led to a vaccine shortage, leaving the most vulnerable Americans scrambling to get their immunization.

"Never ran out, got down to critical levels but never ran out."

Hospital officials say October is the start of flu season and pharmacy workers like Glee Lenoir are double-checking with their distributors to make sure they have an adequate supply of flu shots.

"We ordered from two different distributors in case one comes up short."

Lenoir says she called the distributors as recently as Friday morning to make sure her shipment is on time and to make sure she would receive the amount ordered.

"This year it looks like we're going to have enough for everyone without any kind of delay."

The Medical Center has ordered more than 6,000 flu shots and Greenview Regional has ordered a thousand flu shots.
