Forty-seven-year-old Debra Olbricht pleaded guilty in Barren Circuit Court to manslaughter and assault.

She was indicted by a grand jury last March stemming from a fatal accident in November 2001. Olbricht was driving when she crossed the median and struck a rock wall. Her two children were killed. Another child and grandchild suffered minor injuries. The Commonwealth recommended a five-year sentence. A state trooper testified the accident was caused by speed, distraction and prior drug use.

Final sentencing will be Feb. 17.
