The father of the University of Kentucky student who was killed after a hit-and-run on April 13 says Lexington police have recovered the vehicle they think was involved.
Police say the impounded truck matches the description of the vehicle that killed UK Freshman Connie Blount.
The Park City, Utah native was killed early on April 13, when police say the girl was hit by a pick-up.
Blount was pronounced dead just hours later at the UK Hospital.
A memorial was held on April 14 in honor of the 18-year-old.
A witness has come forward to tell police the involved vehicle is a light-colored Chevrolet extended cab pickup.
So far, no arrests have been made.
