State police say a man accused of killing his estranged wife had been ordered by the court to stay away from her.
Forty-four-year-old James D. Pedigo is accused of murdering his wife Linda Pedigo.
State police say the Edmonton County Sheriff's Department was called to James Pedigo's home Sunday after learning the two had been involved in a fight.
Linda Pedigo was found unresponsive and was pronounced dead at 3:45 Sunday afternoon.
Pedigo was arrested and taken to the Grayson County Jail.
State police say Linda Pedigo was the petitioner of an active DVO (or domestic violence order) on file in Edmonson District Court.
