Gas prices aren't the only thing on the rise.
Hybrid sales are up, way up.
Since prices at the pump are higher than ever, more people are turning to hybrid automobiles as a fuel-efficient option.
A research firm that watches the auto industry says that despite overall car sales dropping by three-percent, hybrid sales were up 38-percent in the U.S. last year, with the Toyota Prius leading the way.
Despite the recent surge in sales, hybrids still made up just two-percent of the overall U.S. market share.
