Heavy snowfall means possible school cancellations but some schools are already out because of the flu.
Right now officials at the Barren River Health Department say they have more than 1600 flu shots still available to the public.
They are encouraging anyone that is 6 months or older to get one.
The shot takes effect immediately and gains full strength within 2 weeks.
