It's what every college student dreams of--graduation!

More then 1,400 WKU students left college life behind and joined the real world.

May 10 was the 163rd commencement ceremony at Western Kentucky University with 1,418 students receiving their diplomas.

And although it will be tough to leave college behind, students say the experience was amazing!

"I'm finally out of college...I love it! I'm ready to move on, ready to work and ready to go into the real world. This is amazing and I love Western Kentucky right now!" said Japera Marshall.

"I enjoyed my experience here at Western and I'm really glad I chose this school," said Megan Talley.

"It's a good closure, finally feels like its all over. It's been a long time coming and it's nice to have that closure to finally happen," said Nicholas Clark, WKU graduate.

Congratulations!

I bet there won't be 1400 more starting with the tuition increase. With the price of gas and education, it's going to cost parents their life savings just to send a child to college.
