It was a marathon ride aboard the Kentucky Rumbler roller coaster on May 10 for the 2008 Rumble Run!

Bowling Green resident Paul Blick and area teams did their best to stay on the coaster for as long as they could!

They were trying to beat Blick's 5 1/2 hour record.

But, the roller coaster action wasn't just for fun--it was also for a good cause!

"Kids from the Boy's and Girl's Club have been out taking pledges the last few weeks and how ever many hours Paul stays on the ride, their pledges or those people that are making those pledges and donations are committed to that much more money to donate to Boy's and Girl's Club," said Stephen Epley, volunteer.

Blick was able to stay on the coaster for a whopping 7 hours, 5 minutes and 26 seconds!

After his amazing feat he said he was hungry and ready for a hot dog!
