A federal grand jury indicted a Missouri woman for her role in executing a MySpace hoax against a 13-year-old who later committed suicide.

Lori Drew is accused of helping create a fake MySpace account to contact Megan Meier who thought she was chatting with a 16-year-old boy named Josh Evans.

Josh did not exist.

Prosecutors say she used the account to harass, abuse and hurt the girl.

Megan hanged herself at her home in Oct. 2006 after receiving cruel messages, including one stating the world would be better off without her.

The indictment does not allege that Drew sent the final message telling Meier the world would be a better place without her.

Instead, it blames her unnamed co-conspirators, who authorities have previously said include a teenage girl.

After Drew learned of the teens suicide, the indictment alleges, she directed one of the teens involved to "keep her mouth shut" and deleted the account.

Drew was charged with one count of conspiracy and three counts of accessing computers to inflict emotional distress.

And one 16-year-old girl named Crystal is using the popular website YouTube to tell people that she was raped.

It's making headlines across the nation...

Her case was dropped--but she's turning to the website to vent her frustration and despair..

And she's not alone..many victims are posting details of their attacks on Facebook and MySpace--hoping to release their anger and possibly warn others of their attacker.
