Ron Paul made a major splash in the presidential arena over the past year.

The Texas congressman created a major buzz in his bid for the White House but failed to seal the nomination for the Republicans.

Still that hasn't stopped Paul from spreading his message.

Paul's slogan is "Revolution" and even though he won't be on your November ballot, Paul's using his platform to educate others on the world around us.

Paul brought his campaign to Bowling Green High School Friday, in hopes that those in attendance will continue to "grow" his message.

"The most important thing is we keep the enthusiasm going. That's what really counts. We're going about dealing with the hearts and minds of people," says Paul.

Paul thinks that his beliefs are starting to rub off on the rest of America.

"I think they're starting to recognize that the more trouble the Republican party wants to get into, the more they should be looking into why we get such large crowds out with a lot of enthusiasm and say why don't these young people join us?, why are they so interested? Maybe they will pay some attention," says.

"The young people have gotten so involved with this because we realize that if we don't do something about it, its just not going to get done," says Paul supporter, Katie Moyer.

So when Paul travels to places like Bowling Green to speak, its not to lay the ground work for another run at the White House.

"I don't look that far ahead for myself. I look forward by generations and I'll continue to be involved in politics but I'm not looking and saying in four years, I'll be doing this again," notes Paul.

"We know he can't win this election. We just want his message to get out cause the message is whats important," says WKU student and Paul supporter, Matthew Lisby.

"Rather than focus on just one generation with the Presidential election. We're focusing on smaller, local elections and places we know we can really make a difference," says Moyer.

Judging by the support Paul received by the young and old alike, whether Paul's in the White House or on the campaign circuit his words are being taken to heart.

"There's a lot of enthusiasm for the message, they're excited about it," says Paul.

Paul spoke to the crowd about his desire to quickly bring the troops home as well as the need for government to take a lesser role in health care.

He did tell the audience he's more optimistic about the country's future than he was this time a year ago.
