28-year-old Robert Gutierrez was killed this morning when a vehicle struck the back of a garbage truck...pinning him between the vehicles.
Gutierrez was working for Hart County Solid Waste on a work release program. State police say Charles Compton was eastbound on Kentucky 88 when he struck a garbage truck stopped in the road for a pickup. Gutierrez was pronounced dead at the scene. Compton was taken to a Louisville hospital.
