Renting movies was the thing to do this Memorial Day, so instead of kicking back on the beach, Sam Provenzano reports how people put up their feet and relaxed with a flick.

Rain...rain... go away!
That's what these people are saying this Memorial Day.
"We were gonna grill out, but we're not going to now."
It may not have been a twister, but it was enough to put a detour to those holiday plans.
"It's definitely a bummer for those who had to be outside in the water or outside having a cookout," stated Heidi Brandon, a Bowling Green resident.
Despite the bad weather some families are making the most of it by declaring the day...a movie day!
"I got 27 Dresses, National Treasure and Cinderella Man," stated Nancy Alfonso, an area resident.
The rain may have brought some tears, but people realize the true meaning of this holiday.
"It's for honoring our veterans, I think that's one thing we need to sit back and reflect on," said one woman.
"Remembering those that have given our lives for our country," added Alfonso.
And Even though the rain ruined their plans for cooking out--many people were still just happy to have a day off of work.
