Thanksgiving Day is on the horizon and many organizations are teaming up to make sure food is on everyones table.
In recognition of National Family Volunteer Day and Western Kentucky University's Centennial Anniversary... The ALIVE Center and organizations through the university will be accepting canned goods to re-stock local pantrys.
ALIVE Center Director Cheryl Kirby-Stokes urges everyone to help out. "it's easy simple i know everyone has to go grocery shopping pick up some extra goods bring them by the alive center or downing university center."
Canned goods can be dropped off today and tomorrow at the Downing University Center room 326 on Western Kentucky University's campus or at The ALIVE Center on 31-w from eight until four.
On Saturday November 19th ... donations will be accepted at the US Bank entrance of Diddle Arena from nine until two Saturday afternoon.
