A state representative from Radcliffe says his military experience is needed in Washington.
Mike Weaver of Radcliffe is kicking off his campaign for second district congressman. He held a noon rally at the Warren County Courthouse Monday.
Weaver is hoping to unseat Congressman Ron Lewis who has held the seat since 1995. Weaver says he has thirty years experience in the Army and served two tours in Vietnam. He says his voice and the voice of eleven other veterans running for congressional seats is needed in Washington.
The Associated Press is calling Weaver his first real challenge for the office.
