2 Horses, 3 Cars in Lexington Crash

Horses that got loose in Lexington have caused a crash involving three vehicles.

WLEX-TV said the incident occurred around 5:30 a.m. Tuesday on Old Richmond Road. It apparently began when two horses wandered onto the road in the dark and a vehicle struck one of them. Two other vehicles and the second horse also became involved in the accident and one car smashed through a plank fence.

Officials said one of the horses was badly injured. No one in the vehicles was hurt.
