It was all happy landings at the third annual Aviation Heritage Park Hangar Party Saturday.

Between the vintage aircraft, the fly-by's, the food and the entertainment, organizers deemed the fundraiser for the airplane museum "a success."

"Everything went very well," says Bowling Green Warren County Regional Airport manager Rob Barnett.

"We had a phenomenal turnout over the weekend. Over 600 people attended the hangar party. The weather cooperated. We had some good aerial demonstrations, fly-by's which created a lot of stir and a lot of traffic on Scottsville Road."

Barnett says this was the most successful special event fundraiser in Aviation Heritage Park history.
