Some big changes are on the way for the Medicaid program that serves nearly 700,000 Kentuckians.
Governor Ernie Fletcher said that four benefit packages will be offered.
The plans will be tailored to various groups covered by the federal-state insurance program.
The changes include cost sharing by some Medicaid recipients.
However, officials say no recipient will pay more than $225 a year and some will pay nothing.
The state will also offer disease management programs for Medicaid recipients.
