49-year-old Lawrence Stinnett and 28-year-old Alanda Lewis were arrested on the scene when police found the body of 29-year-old Christina Renshaw inside the apartment.
Police say it appears Renshaw was beaten to death.
Stinnett and the victim lived together at the apartment and he says they were married.
Police say a lover's quarrel and an argument are what led to the death.
Monday morning (2/06) both Stinnett and Lewis pleaded not guilty and were both given court appointed attorneys.
They are being held in the Warren County Jail without bail.
Their pre-trial hearing is set for Monday (2/13) at 9 a-m.
