The Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce is ranked as one of the top three chambers in the nation and in Canada.

The award is based on the chamber's due structure" which falls in the $500,000 to one-million-dollar category.

Chamber Communication's Director Jessica Thompson says, the honor was given to them by The American Chamber of Commerce Executives.

"We're just thrilled to have this honor. We know that we have a good staff, we have a good board, we have a lot of great volunteers, and our community stands behind us, but this extra recognition makes us feel better and stand a little prouder," said Thompson.

Thompson also says, it took filling out extensive applications about everything from the Chamber's programs to its new member list, to receive the honor.
