MORE AND MORE YOUNG PEOPLE... ARE TURNING TO AGRICULTURE AS A FUTURE CAREER...EVEN AS THE INDUSTRY CONTINUES TO CHANGE.
FUTURE FARMERS OF AMERICA IS THE LARGEST STUDENT ORGANIZATION IN THE UNITED STATES.
AT WARREN EAST HIGH SCHOOL...THE CHAPTER HAS MORE THAN 170 MEMBERS.
F-F-A ADVISOR DAN COSTELLOW HAS GONE FROM TEACHING LIVESTOCK AND CROP PRODUCTION...TO FOCUSING ON AGRI-BUSINESS AND LANDSCAPING.
HE SAYS.. TODAY'S STUDENTS ARE WELL AWARE OF THE VARIETY OF AG RELATED CAREERS AWAY FROM THE FARM.
WARREN EAST IS CELEBRATING F-F-A WEEK BY HAVING "MUDDY" TRUCK DAY...AS WELL AS ATTENDING THE FARM MACHINERY SHOW IN LOUISVILLE....AND HAS EVENTS PLANNED THROUGH THE WEEK.
THE FUTURE FARMERS PROGRAM OF AMERICA HAS BEEN AROUND SINCE 19-28.
