The ABC cameraman who was injured in Iraq last month is home in France with his wife.

Doug Vogt was released this week from a military hospital outside Washington.

That update comes from ABC News President David Westin, who also reports anchor Bob Woodruff "continues to make good progress" from his injuries, but that he has "a long way to go."

In an Email to staff, Westin says doctors are slowly bringing Woodruff out of sedation.

He says Woodruff has been out of bed in a chair, and that he is responding more to his wife and children.
