DOCTOR JOSEPH FINE SAYS...THEY HOPE TO SEE A SIMILAR DEGREE OF IMPROVEMENT OVER THE NEXT FIVE TO SEVEN DAYS. FLETCHER'S OFFICE SAYS HE IS NO LONGER SUFFERING FROM A FEVER AND HIS WHITE BLOOD CELL COUNT IS STARTING TO RETURN TO NORMAL. HE HAS BEEN IN THE HOSPITAL SINCE FEBRUARY 12TH. ON WEDNESDAY...FLETCHER MADE HIS FIRST PUPLIC APPEARANCE SINCE HIS GALLBLADDER AND GALLSTONE SURGERY.
