Forty-year-old Wilton Lane Westerfield was found guilty Friday of kidnapping an Auburn woman and her 11-year-old daughter, and sexually assaulting the mother.
The trial began Wednesday in Warren Circuit court.
The jury deliberated nearly two and a half hours before finding Westerfield guilty on all counts. Westerfield, who is already on the Kentucky State Police registry of sex offenders, was convicted of first degree robbery, two counts of kidnapping, first degree sodomy and three counts of sexual abuse.
The recommended penalty is three life sentences plus 61 years. Final sentencing is set for March 31.
