28-YEAR-OLD U.S. ARMY STAFF SGT. CHRISTOPHER SHORNAK WAS KILLED IN CENTRAL BAGHDAD FEBRUARY 26TH.
HIS WIFE, ROBYN MINK SHORNAK, LIVES IN FRANKLIN.
SHORNAK WAS AMONG THE FIRST FORT CAMPBELL 101ST AIRBORNE DIVISION SOLDIERS TO GO INTO IRAQ THROUGH KUWAIT WHEN THE WAR STARTED IN 2003.
HE CAME HOME A YEAR LATER ....AND WAS RE-DEPLOYED IN MARCH 2005.
IN ADDITION TO HIS WIFE...SHORNAK IS SURVIVED BY HIS TWO YEAR OLD SON, TRISTAN.
FUNERAL SERVICES FOR SHORNAK WILL BE HELD TUESDAY, MARCH 7TH AT TWO P.M. AT CRAFTON FUNERAL HOME IN FRANKLIN.
HE WILL BE BURIED WITH FULL MILITARY HONORS IN GREENLAWN CEMETERY.
