The debate over whether the ten commandments should be posted in public places continues here in Kentucky. Friday, the state Senate passed a bill that will call upon Congress to propose an amendment to the U.S. Constitution that allows the ten commandments to be posted in schools and other public buildings.

Currently the state house is considering whether to pass the legislation. Supporters of the resolution say the chances of it becoming a constitutional amendment are slim since 38 other states must ratify the amendment.
