Students who live in Kentucky will pay 11 percent more next year to attend community and technical colleges in the state.

The increase means students would pay eleven dollars more per credit hour this academic year.

The announcement came days after the University of Kentucky announced in-state students will pay almost eleven-hundred dollars more for an education next academic year.

A task force at the University of Louisville has recommended a 13 percent increase.
