Tuesday, National City Bank announced it will sponsor "Thunderfest" for at least the next four years.
By sponsoring the event, National City allows the Kiwanis Club to use the money it gets from tickets and concessions for its programs benefiting underprivileged children.
National City's community president, Kevin Mays, says the Kiwanis mission of serving children fits exactly with National City's community spirit. The "2006 Thunderfest" is set for July 1.
