That last bit of pasta might not be the only thing you can take home in a doggie bag.
Under a bill passed by the Kentucky House yesterday, people dining at restaurants would be able to take their leftover wine home.
The wine bottle would have to be resealed at the restaurant and placed in a container.
The restaurant would then provide a dated receipt for the wine.
Once outside, the bottle would have to be stored in a trunk or locked glove box safely away from the driver.
The bill is now headed to Governor Ernie Fletcher's office for approval.
