U.S. District Judge, Joseph H. McKinley Jr. approved two class-action settlements yesterday, totaling 42 million dollars against Fruit of the Loom Incorporated.
The suits claim that former officeholders of the Bowling Green-based company lied to analysts to boost the company's stock.
They were filed by pension plan agencies and people that bought Fruit of the Loom stock in the mid 1990's.
