South Central Kentuckians are getting help finding ways to afford their prescription drugs.
A national bus tour rolled into Bowling Green today. It's called the Help Is Here Express. It's a traveling education center helping people learn about patient assistance programs.
The initiative is sponsored by America’s pharmaceutical research companies. People can receive help in finding ways to get their prescription drugs for free, or nearly free.
Thirty-thousand Kentuckians have already been helped by the Partnership for Prescription Assistance.
If you missed today's bus tour stop, you can still receive help. Just call toll free, 1-888-477-2669, or log onto www.pparx.org.
The bus tour wraps up tomorrow in Paducah.
