This is disturbing.
I don't understand this being a police program. Must be nice to have extra city budget money around for programs like this. Seems like a strange selection for the economic problems. Although the city of BG would like us all to think that BG is the only city/citizens in the US to be thriving. Does this mean we can see a lower city tax in the near future? We can use some savings!
Creating this type of position in this economy? Does the community get a vote in this type of tax dollar abuse? I want a created position in pork prevention.
I'm lost... What am I spending my tax dollars on? What is the purpose? What does the "blueprint" consist of. I don't see the BGPD reaching out to anyone. I'm thinking the BGPD is using my tax dollars making positions that may not be needed or called for. How about a interview to explain this a little further. Last week we were concerned with fuel cost of Police cruisers. This week were making up positions.
