Over 337,000 gallons of water erupted out of a fire hydrant on Scottsville Road after a car hit it.
The Bowling Green Police Department says Louis Logan lost control of his vehicle and hit a fire hydrant in front of Covington Oaks on Scottsville Road.
The fire hydrant was uprooted, causing water to pour out of it.
The Bowling Green Fire Department says it opened another hydrant and dug ditches to protect the nearby residences from flooding.
Police say Logan was transported to the Medical Center.
