It's time to dust off those blue suede shoes and hit the dance floor, Vettetastic 2008 is here!

Workers are putting the final touches on decorations for this year's 1950's themed preview party.

As part of the annual event the public was invited to Bowling Green's Sloan Convention Center on July 17, to check out the Vettetastic decorated Corvettes.

"This is the kick-off for the National Corvette Homecoming, which is this weekend, and we'll be auctioning off six of the '57 Corvettes at that time," said Project Coordinator, Sharon Durie.

Tonight's party starts at 7:00 p.m. at the convention center.

There will be live music, food and drinks and a special appearance by Elvis himself.
