A former Glasgow High assistant baseball coach is arrested for buying alcohol for minors.

According to the Glasgow Police Department and the Barren County Commonwealth's Attorney Allan "Matt" Bowles bought alcohol for two minors in the first part of July.

Bowles is charged with two counts of unlawful transaction with a minor, which is a misdemeanor.

The Glasgow superintendent says Allen "Matt" Bowles is a former assistant baseball coach for Glasgow High.

He served as one of the assistants last season.
