"It was a total loss... Total loss," said Greg Denham owner of farm and home that were ruined.

"Thank god he wasn't home," said Patsy Denham, Greg's mother.

Greg Denham was working in town just escaping the storms that devastated his home and farm.

"Took the house... Shop.... took it all," Denham said.

But once the storm settled.... the people started coming to help.

"They just showed up," said Patsy.

Denham's family, friends, and neighbors are coming together to salvage what they can.

"I've got sister in laws brother in laws nieces and nephews and people I don't even know are helping," said Patsy.

Picking up the pieces and counting the losses...

"I mean it's just stuff... We can replace stuff," said Denham.

"You can replace everything but you can't replace a child," said Patsy.

And this mother and son are just thankful no one was home.

"I still got a son and I thank God for that," said Patsy.
