Lawmakers in the House approve the state's $18 billion budget.
The 98-to-2 vote comes one day after the senate approved the spending plan unanimously.
The $18 billion plan will pay for a list of projects including roads, bridges, softball fields, and ATV trails in cities and communities across the state.
The budget didn't pass without debate. The big concern in the plan was the more than $2 billion in new debt.
Representative Jim Decesare of Bowling Green and Representative Stan Lee of Lexington cast the two "no" votes. They both cite the record high debt as the reason.
The budget now goes to Governor Ernie Fletcher who has the opportunity to use his line-item veto power.
